WELCOME
Founded in 1997, Plymkids has grown to become a known name throughout Children's Theatre
in the South West and UK.
​
We proudly teach skills including Singing, Drama, Acting and Dance. Whilst also rehearsing weekly in preparation to stage three full scale Theatre Productions a year.
Our professional teachers have the privilege of working with over 200 children aged between 6 and 18 years.
​
And as a result of our training, Plymkids members are frequently cast in professional theatre productions at the Theatre Royal and many members have also had the opportunity to take part in a range of local television and film work.

OUR COMPANIES
YOUNG COMPANY
For students in School
Years 1 – Year 4
and takes place between
4:15pm and 5:45pm on
Tuesday Evenings.
Each year the Young Company Stage a Full Production,
at a local Theatre.
JUNIOR COMPANY
For students in School
Years 5 – Year 8
and takes place between
5:30pm and 7:30pm on
Wednesday Evenings.
Each year the Junior Company Stage a Full Production,
at a local Theatre.
YOUTH COMPANY
For students in School
Years 9 and above and takes place between
7:30pm and 10:00pm on Wednesday Evenings.
Each year the Youth Company Stage a Full Production,
at a local Theatre.
All our sessions take place at
Old Priory Junior Academy, Plympton, PL7 1QN
and cost £7.50 per session.
New pupils are given the opportunity to pay weekly, for the first two weeks, to make sure they like it and then a choice of a termly or half termly payment will be due plus a £6.50 yearly administration fee, which covers all their scripts, words and public liability insurance.
Additional Singing Lessons & LAMDA
Singing optional LAMDA
with Molly Stewart
This session is for students wishing to study towards LAMDA examinations in Musical Theatre. Students will be taught and encouraged to develop their acting, empathy, self-awareness and singing skills as learners are required to present believable characters through song.

Where our Previous Students are now...
Our Super Talented and Beautiful Olivia Sullivan has successfully auditioned for Ruthie Henshall's brand new Drama School, CAST.
And even more exciting was that she was invited to sing, by Ruthie, at a recent cabaret evening in London, in front of Ruthie and many other West End icons.
The biggest Congratulations to our Fabulous Harry Lowe, who has just finished at Emil Dale Academy and has now been cast as Scorpius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, at the Palace Theatre.
Joe Hewitt is somewhere at sea looking PHENOMENAL as Alonzo in Cats the Musical.
